The KCC Farmers Market with Diamond Head in the distance

If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Hawaii, Honolulu’s KCC Farmers’ Market is one of the best places to experience the flavors of the islands.

Put on by the Hawaii Farm Bureau and held every Saturday morning, this bustling market brings together local farmers, artisans, and food vendors showcasing everything from exotic fruits to gourmet street food.

Located in the parking lot at Kapiolani Community College just across from Diamond Head State Monument, the weekly market is extremely popular with both locals and visitors.

The market has been a staple of Oahu’s agriculture industry for years and draws food lovers eager to try fresh island-grown produce, homemade jams, local honey, and some of the best ready-to-eat foods on Oahu.

Whether you’re craving a fresh acai bowl, Lilikoi lemonade, or a plate of garlic shrimp, the KCC Farmers’ Market is packed with delicious options that showcase Hawaii’s unique agriculture community.

That’s why I consider it one of the best things to do on Oahu and a must for your Oahu Bucket List!

Make a Saturday Diamond Head Reservation and Do Both!

One of the best ways to experience the KCC Farmers’ Market is to plan it alongside a morning hike up Diamond Head Crater.

Since Diamond Head is right next door, you can book your hiking reservation for early Saturday morning, take in the breathtaking views from the summit, then head straight to the market for a refreshing smoothie or a hearty breakfast.

Be sure to book the 6:00am, 7:00am, or 8:00am reservation time at Diamond Head if you want to have enough time to hit the market after your hike (it closes at 11:00am).
