“Hawai’i Island – The Big Island”

It’s the largest and most unique island in Hawaii, and there’s so much to see and do! Think active volcanoes, cascading waterfalls, and gorgeous beaches (including a rare green sand beach!).

The Big Island has two distinct personalities – the Hilo side and the Kona side. The wetter Hilo (windward) side is known for waterfalls and Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. On the sunnier Kona (leeward) side, you’ll find amazing snorkeling, beautiful beaches, and a wide variety of resorts, shops, and restaurants.

There’s plenty to see on both sides of the island, but most visitors stay on the Kona side and explore from there. No matter which side you choose, the Big Island is an unforgettable place for a vacation.
